Pat Hackett, Chair
Pat has worked in the NHS for 24 years, commencing as a nursing auxiliary and working her way up to a trained registered nurse. She has completed BSc (Hons) in Community Health Nursing and MA in Healthcare Management.
Pat’s nursing background was predominantely as District Nurse until 2002 when she commenced work within South Birmingham PCT as a Matron for a Palliative Care Unit in Birmingham. Pat was commenced as Director of Adults and Community Division in July 2008 with South Birmingham Community Health.
She became a non-executive Board member from the inception of Gateway and is currently the Chair of the Board.
