Position Title:                      Finance and HR Administrator

Salary:                                   £18,500 (pro rata)

Hours per week:                 Negotiable 37 hours max – 30 hours min

 

To deliver a comprehensive Finance function coupled with an element of administrative support relating to Human Resources.   To ensure that work is customer focused, timely and of a high standard.

Responsibility for the financial probity and management of the organisation lies with the Chief Executive but the post holder will contribute to this by being responsible for the day to day running of the organisation’s financial processes and the production of accurate and reliable information. They will have practical responsibility for key things like payroll, generating invoices and accruals, and they will have regular involvement with the appointed Accountant and operational contact in relation to the organisation’s annual audit.

In addition they will work as part of our administration team taking a specific responsibility for administration duties linked to HR needs.

The organisation has well established processes and systems so the key will be to maintain their smooth running and make adjustments where they are deemed necessary.

We currently have a vacancy for a Behaviour Change Advisor to provide one to one and group support to those clients accessing weight management services. You will need to effectively manage a client caseload ensuring timely, appropriate interventions and effective support is offered to clients throughout the process. Applicants should hold an MSc qualification in Health Psychology.

 

The role will involve:

  • Designing, planning and implementing health psychology interventions to include initial assessment, action planning and ongoing review to those clients accessing weight management services.
  • Supporting clients to design a plan of action and refer clients as appropriate to partners, sub contractors and external agencies to support sustained behaviour change.
  • Managing own caseload with support of Line Manager, working both in office setting and within the local community.
  • Liaise with Dietitian and Call centre staff to provide timely, effective intervention to clients

The role is outreach based and involves working across and offering support to client’s resident in Solihull.

The role will involve:

As a Community Interpreter (Public Sector Interpreter) you will work in the context of public services, such as health services and local government related services which include: health, housing, education, welfare and social services.

 

The role will involve completing a Level 2 qualification with CERTA – Community Interpreting. There will be a contribution of £50 required towards the course/training. No prior qualifications are needed for this role, however a willingness to learn, and a good ability to accurately translate & communicate meaning from one language to another in a way that is easily understood by the listener is required.
