Position Title:                        Behaviour Change Advisor

Salary:                                    £18,968 per annum

Hours per week:                   37 hours


We currently have a vacancy for a Behaviour Change Advisor to provide one to one and group support to those clients accessing weight management services. You will need to effectively manage a client caseload ensuring timely, appropriate interventions and effective support is offered to clients throughout the process. Applicants should hold an MSc qualification in Health Psychology.


The role will involve:

  • Designing, planning and implementing health psychology interventions to include initial assessment, action planning and ongoing review to those clients accessing weight management services.
  • Supporting clients to design a plan of action and refer clients as appropriate to partners, sub contractors and external agencies to support sustained behaviour change.
  • Managing own caseload with support of Line Manager, working both in office setting and within the local community.
  • Liaise with Dietitian and Call centre staff to provide timely, effective intervention to clients

The role is outreach based and involves working across and offering support to client’s resident in Solihull.

Applicants for this post must be willing to work flexible hours that will be set around the needs of the organisation which will at times include evenings and weekends

The post is subject to DBS disclosure as the post holder will be coming into contact with vulnerable people
