Position: Black Country Co-Lead (Walsall)
Location: Walsall / Black Country (community-based & meetings across LMNS areas)
Hours: 15 hours per month
Contract: Self-employed (role reviewed October 2027)
Pay: £20 per hour
Eligibility: Lived experience of accessing maternity and/or neonatal services in Walsall or the Black Country

Black Country Maternity & Neonatal Voices Partnership (MNVP) is a group of parents (and parents-to-be), service user representatives, healthcare providers, community organisations and representatives, commissioners and professionals from local maternity services who work together to review and contribute to the development of local maternity care. Our aim is to make sure that parents’ voices are heard and their needs are placed at the centre when reviewing and designing local maternity care.
The Role
•Act as Lead for Maternity & Neonatal Voices members and contributors in a designated area.
•Chair meetings with members (including service users, providers and community organisations), ensuring adequate representation and quoracy where required.
•Ensure views and feedback are accurately and adequately represented.
•Engage with the local population of the area you represent to hear their perinatal experiences.
