Senior Administrator

We are recruiting for a Senior Administrator who will provide PA and administrative support to the Senior Management team and work across the organisation providing high level administrative and organisational support

Position: Senior Administrator
Location: Harborne with some community work required
Hours: 30-37 hours (negotiable)
Contract: Permanent
Salary: £27,250 per annum (based on full time)

The Role

The organisation delivers a range of health and wellbeing services across Birmingham, Solihull and the Black country, including a role as Partner Locality Lead for the South Birmingham Locality and is looking for an experienced and self-motivated Administrator to work cross organisationally, supporting the Senior Management Team with a range of administrative tasks.

A key part of the role will be supporting our work as Fairer Futures Locality Lead Partner so will include event and meeting organisation, including liaison with external partners, booking suppliers, dealing with incoming and outgoing correspondence including initial sifting of funding applications as well as liaison with a range of partners from other sectors including health, primary care and local authorities.

Based at the main Gateway office in Harborne, there is a requirement for some travel across the area, and hybrid working is supported.

Main activities within the role include:

  • Provision of administrative support to the Senior Management Team
  • Event and meeting planning including liaison with external partners
  • Coordination of key meetings including note taking, room booking et
  • Deputising for Office Manager as required
  • Production of and support to produce reports in a range of formats including Excel, Word and Power Point
  • Development and updating of effective information monitoring systems
Required Skills/Experience

You should be self-motivated with the ability to understand the detailed tasks relevant to event and meeting planning.  You should be an experienced administer or PA with the ability to communicate well with a wide range of internal and external partners and suppliers.  You should be IT literate and able to produce documents and reports to a high standard.
