We are looking to appoint a Maternity & Neonatal Voices Partnership (MNVP) Co-Lead to cover the geographical area of Dudley, working alongside the existing MNVP Lead. Families in this area predominantly receive maternity care at Russells Hall Hospital.
The MNVP Co-Lead will ensure engagement with women, birthing people, families, and the organisations that support them, making sure their voices and experiences are heard, amplified, and fed into maternity systems through relevant channels:
- Hosting and supporting quarterly MNVP meetings and engagement events
- Gathering and sharing feedback from service users through meetings, events, and social media
- Building and sustaining a diverse MNVP membership across the community
- Working independently of maternity providers to avoid conflict of interest
- Supporting reporting and data collection to improve services
-
Recent experience of using maternity services in Dudley (ideally within the last 3 years)
-
Experience engaging with service users (paid or voluntary)
-
Ability to network and build positive relationships with a range of people
-
A proactive and enthusiastic approach to engagement, with strong listening skills
-
