Gateway Family Services CIC is a provider of health and wellbeing services across Birmingham and the West Midlands, delivering training and a range of services within community settings. Our aim is to reduce inequalities in learning, employment and health.

We are recruiting two Trust-Leads to support and strengthen compliance within the Maternity Neonatal Voices Partnership (MNVP) project. Gateway delivers MNVPs for Birmingham and Solihull ICB, so travel across the area is required for engagement, co-production and core Trust meetings. Each postholder will be assigned a specific Trust (with travel within that area) and provide some cover across both areas where needed (e.g., absence, annual leave).

The Role

This fixed-term role provides oversight of feedback from the MNVP Service Lead, monitors co-production, and attends mandatory Trust meetings, representing the service user voice. You will build effective relationships with Trusts and partners, helping to evidence and celebrate “You said, We did” outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Attend Trust meetings (in person and online), representing service user voices.

  • Monitor Trust and MNVP progression with co-production, working alongside Leads and the Coordinator.

  • Ensure “You said, We did” moments are captured and celebrated.

  • Build strong working relationships with the Trusts.

  • Travel across Birmingham and Solihull for engagement, co-production and core meetings.

  • Provide cover across both areas when required (e.g., absence, annual leave).

Required Skills/Experience
  • Natural ability to build effective relationships; a curious approach to navigating sensitive information.

  • Level 4+ qualification in a health/social care subject or commensurate experience in a similar field.

  • Experience of working with midwifery/neonatal services (helpful).

  • Knowledge of MNVP priorities and aims (helpful).

  • Flexible working approach based on service needs; ability to travel across multiple locations in Birmingham and Solihull.

  • Comfortable with elements of remote working.
